I think half the problem with lack of manuals is the manufaturers pushing autos on the public saying they are so much faster and then everyone saying they dont sell much so people are scared they wont be able to sell it when the time comes. Mazda still pushes the manuals which is pretty awesome

No manual, not on my list.....
Same thing with the Hellcat Redeye, no manual, not on my list. I’m with Paul(s) for a toy, I want a stick. Go to the Porsche website and try building a new 911 with a stick, it’s very disappointing. |

Also, I have an "honorary nephew"...a son of a deceased close buddy, who is damned good at the game. Ask anybody serious about the game in the PNW who they'd consider to be the top 5 amateurs, he'd be on the list. So, he kind of brought the game to us. Now I have a question for you. Were you really in a pool hall, or were you in a seedy bar with pool tables? Jim, the owner of the cue ball, runs a pretty tight ship. It's a place where kids are welcome..no bar, no grille, just pool. Oh, if you're looking for a money game, you can find one...but if you're not, nobody twists your arm. People from all walks of life enjoy the game. It just kinda gets in your blood... Now back to the Mustang...Personally, 700 plus horsepower would be no place for this old man, so I'll stick with what I've got...it performed well enough coming home tonight on a traffic clogged and wet I-5. Man..where did Ford find that empty desert road for the video posted here?

I'm a big fan of Mustang GTs, (have had 4 of them) but not this one...too many "boy racer" attachments for me.

If I ever get back out there, I'd be interested to accompany you two to Jim's place. All the best.

I have to admit, it sounds a lot better than it looks.
No really, a lot!

So, to those commenting on the GT500 Mustang's "ugly" front end...don't worry about it. Odds are good you'll be seeing the rear end soon enough... ![]() I dunno how I've managed to drive my Mustang for nearly 10 years without crashing. Must be some advantage to having both a car and a body that have become old, slow, and obsolete. That and not ever having gone to a cars and coffee thing.... Sounds good, Paul. Here's a link to The Cue Ball website. Cindy & I can be found most Thursday afternoons playing on the back corner table..first pic on the left if you click on "pool room". The mural on the wall in that pic was done on carved out table slate...quite a piece of art. On the west wall, near the center of the room is some tribute material for Sgt. Don Malarkey of "Band of Brothers" fame. Before he became too frail, he could be found there most Thursday afternoons near the snooker table. We loved chatting with him...probably why Thursdays became our thing. Sadly, real pool halls are vanishing from the American landscape...going the way or the Drive-in movie. Jim is our age group...the only reason Jim stays open is his lifelong love of the game and the fact he owns the building and some of the storefronts near it. The tables are beautiful old style Brunswick Anniversary or Centennial models. Usually only found in the game rooms of well off pool players...a well restored Centennial or Anniversary will set you back 5 figures. It's sort of a privilege to be able to play on one. https://www.thecueball.com/
