There seems to be no question Saints should be going to the Super Bowl. Interesting watching some of the commentators avoid calling it what it is.

Refs cost the Saints the game. A blind man could have made that interference call.

Refs also missed a facemask call on NO on Goff that would have extended a drive. The Rams did not win soley because of that non-call.

Exactly ^^^^ I'd say both missed calls washed each other out. Had either penalty been called, it would only have been an extended possession, not guaranteed points. The pass interference call was a short throw anyway and NO was lucky it wasn't intercepted.

It was a good game, with both defenses playing well. I guess it's typical for fans of the loosing team to look for blame.

The face mask penalty caucusing the loss is speculative. The interference call ifmade would have ended the game.

That was a really, really bad call. Yeah it's a 60-minute game, lots of other plays, blah, blah, blah. But yeah, that call cost the Saints the game.

That was the worst referee/ump (non)call since that ump called the guy safe with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th in a perfect game. I'm too lazy to look up who the pitcher was. I believe that the record-book people eventually added him to the list of perfect games. That was cool.

That was a gift, the Saints got totally screwed. The Patriots had one too, 3rd and 10 on their final regular time drive, incomplete pass, Chiefs called for roughing the passer. Replay showed that Brady was barely touched on the shoulder pad, he didn’t even fall down. It could have just led to a 4th down conversion but it also could have been a drive killer.

Two awesome games....I didn't care who won either game...SB should be epic....again :).

I agree it was a bad call , the league agrees it was a bad call . But the Saints coach made some bad calls ( in my opinion ) to throw the ball that late in the game . They should have run the ball , eaten up more clock and attempt the winning field goal . Obviously it is easy to Monday morning QB but handing the Rams the ball with aprox. 1 1/2 minutes left was too much time on the clock .

I think (not alone) that non-call where the receiver was leveled at the 5 yard line (before the ball arrived) will taint the legitimacy of the LA Rams as the NFC champion. That sould have been a game ender first down with short time remaining. The Saints would have easily punched in a short FG and game over. And I am no Saints fan, that's for sure!

The Patriots may make it a mute point that the Rams made it to the SB . Time will tell .
