Indy 500 predictions: Who do you think will drink the milk?
Sebastien Bourdais is my pick. After last year's smashup I think it will make for a great comeback.
Whata think???

I'll pick Wickens.

In spite of Wickens being a Canuck,
I can see him being in contention IF the pit crew and the strategists can get the job done.Helio wants it but has been out of Indycar and I don't know if he will be able to handle the new aero kit. Never count out Pagenaud, Dixon, Bordais, Power, Kanaan. My pick: Newgarden wants it and has the brass to go for broke. My longshot pick just for laughs: Danica.

We've always been AJ Foyt fans. I hope Tony Kanaan can do it this year.

I pick Dixon. Hope he wins and then I hope he gets out--he has nothing left to prove, he has a great wife and young family, and he's used up several of his 9 lives already. Go back to Kiwi-land and be a sheep rancher.

That would be cool..especially since he left Ganassi under not friendly terms.

It's going to be really difficult to pick the winner, but based on what we've seen so far, it appears that the Chevys have the upper hand, at least in qualifying trim. It would be cool to see Helio get his 4th, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Who I would like to see win: Bourdais, Dixon, Carpenter, or Patrick
Who I think will win: any Penske or Carpenter. The Chevies have an edge at the moment. We’ll see what Carb Day brings.

After the last few years I wouldn't bet against an Andretti car. They've got this placed sussed with win s in 2014, 2016 and 2017. Having said that the Chevy's seem to have the edge in power this year on the Speedways.
I'll be happy with any of these guys taking it home. Seabass Rossi Wickens Rahal But that list is more about personal favorites than reality. No matter what Rossi is going to be fun to watch coming from the last row. If I were putting money on it, it would be tough to bet against Newgarden.

Chevies did not seem to have the pace on a hot Carb Day.
Indy Lights race was spectacular. Shot just before practice today on the first row of the penthouse seats above turn 1.

Haven't kept up with IndyCars since about, oh, 1996, but didn't Carb Day used to be Thursday? Now it's Friday?
