There should be minimum IQ requirement to run for office, not to mention a minimum English proficiency.

I'd rather vote for the hos.

I would love to see a politician who is willing to kick Penndot in the ass over potholes around here.
As near as I can tell all the politicians are on the take and the contractors are controlled by the mob.
It's not like the taxes aren't high enough.

Do you think the Boss Hog Bubba running against him would be any more intelligent, sophisticated, or English proficient?

This is Holmes County, Misseppy, The 2nd poorest county in the nation and ranked 3rd to last in education. Sumptin tells me theys schools ain't got no modern computers or new science books.

I haven't seen a commercial from boss hog bubba, so no point of reference.
But I bet he would be at least literate.

Sometimes the correct answer is none of the above so I'm still rooting for the pot hos.

What this guy want to change is okay by me. Better than a "stimulus package" that does nothing but fatten the wallets of a politician's cronies.

Yea, he a long long way from the top professional politicians.

Huey Long of Louisiana was a perfect textbook example of a corrupt politician. He wanted a 4 lane highway built, and of course his cronies were going to kickback the costs of all that. The legislature would not fully fund it, and insisted a two lane highway was enough. So he had the construction build a 4 lane highway and built only every other mile. So the highway was useless until the legislature coughed up the rest of the money to finish the other miles in the gaps.

An accent doesn't make a person stupid. It just means they grew up in an area where everyone spoke with that accent.
