Someone please explain in laymans terms. Is this a problem malware? Will shutting it down cause issues with loading other websites or items?

If I ‘go advanced’, there is an option to send trackbacks but there are no urls like I the example above from the random tranny pic thread...

I’ve seen them as well and knew they had been discussed before.

So, other than seeing them when posting a picture, is there any harm in them?
