One of the local TV personalities and an actual degreed meteorologist is a avid outdoor lady. She has some videos of her noodling, and deer hunting and quail hunting.

I can't imagine sticking my hands up into a hole in the bank of a river. Ain't gonna do it.

The first one (turtle) isn't noodling but the catfish video is. I've seen plenty of people do it where I grew up on the bayou s in La. Way bigger fish too. They are crazy! Lots of gators around when they are doing that also.. PASS..........

I can tell you, from personal experience, that there’s nothing enjoyable about noodling.

And the fish involved get a lot bigger than the one that fine looking female caught.

I’ve been up close and personal with a snapping turtle that size, and I don’t recommend it either. Let’s just say that, if you’re nearsighted, you shouldn’t go scuba diving in a strip pit without some sort of eye correction.
