I only watch the endings. Hell, they managed a multi car wreck on pit lane. I do like the short track banging.

The camera wreck on the big wreck was amazing. Like sparks flying from a million grinders

Three major wrecks. 18 cars running at the end, less than half the field.

Half of them were taped together. I am a NASCAR fan but I hate plate racing.

The cars are lower to the ground than ever. No ride height rule this race. Takes very little to get them dragging metal.

Hey, it was a break from seemingly endless basketball games.

So now with the availability of new domestic sedans and coupes dwindling, many teams are down to running Mustangs and Camaros. What's gonna happen to NASCAR if/when the Big Three totally give up on building cars? Will they start racing SUVs and crossovers? Or will all the cars wind up being either Japanese or Korean? I guess it hardly matters since they're all purpose-built race chassis under the skin anyway.

I recorded it on the dvr then watch on fast forward.
- Breaking the race up into heat races is stupid. - A pickup truck as a pace car? - Darrell Waltrip is SUPER annoying. - It's the only race I watch all year and it's painful.

Try MotoGP, I doubt that you'll be disappointed.

Nascar tried to be "more exciting", they keep doing things to be "more exciting".
I just want to watch a race. Stopped watching a few years ago. Used to really love it. When there is a big crash, the handywork of many people is destroyed, and despite the drivers generally walking off those crashes do still hurt. |

I remember getting to watch what might have been the longest green flag run in the Coca Cola 600, it was going down to five cars on the lead lap.
Some one bumped the yellow button to "spice things up". It was obvious, it ticked me off. I was enjoying the action up till that point. So now they have "segments" with pre designated "yellows". In cup racing it is the segments. In truck racing it has gone on without a yellow for X long they throw one. Not my style, I like green flag, even if it means there are only a few lead lap cars. |

"...the greatest stock car drivers in the world" can't put together 10 laps without a crash.
