Sweet! Nice save. I have passed up way too many of those to keep my handle.

Nice color combination! And quilted for comfort and style. Is that leather or vinyl?

I’ve got some kind of pop when I turn the steering wheel to the right on my 2014 F150. I checked the front end and could not find anything loose. The other day I took everything out of the pick up bed and the ball hitch as well. Still had the noise.

Today, I took out the rear airbags and took it for a quick spin … Pop pop pop! 🤬

I pulled back in the driveway and broke out the grease gun for all of the ball joints, and sway bar end links. I’ll see what happens tomorrow morning when I leave.

I don’t want something breaking catastrophically when I’m doing 60 miles an hour

It's leather, done by a local Columbian gal. The color is colloquially called old man tan by some. It didn't come cheap, but that's aviation, burn certs for everything.

What a dummy. 🤪

After checking ball joints, springs, drive shaft, removing the airbags, etc, I greased eight zirk fittings late yesterday and when I drove it today, it was quiet as a mouse.

I guess I'm a fool. I have had a 4' length of 20" sonotube kicking around for a few years and the other week, my granddaughter asked if I could make her a chair with it.
Sure, Dear. You can paint it to match your desk.
So what you see is one of two. They have a plug glued into the bottom for strength and the pieces fit into the upper part will form the support for the glued panel pine seat (which will not be painted), once the scrap functioning as a spreader is removed.
Hey! I'm retired, what else am I gonna do?

Best

Picked up this jd saber this morning from my frneighbor that does excavation work. His customer wanted it gone it was covered in hay and goat poo. I spent all day fixing the flat tires and getting the steering unstuck. Actually its in pretty good shape. Its getting no power so tomorrow i wil be going through the wiring. Already cleaned up the carb so it should be running soon. Even has the hood thats not smashed.

Yeah, my 04 was doing that -turned out to be shot swaybar link. Hadn't been greased in a long time and grease didn't help.

This is at my late parents' house, which my brothers and I are getting ready to sell. So Milton comes along and blows off some of the vinyl siding on one side.

I gathered up all the siding pieces.....luckily they were all there, although laying in a couple different yards.

Hired a contractor out of Port Orange and they came today and got everything re-attached. It wasn't easy trying to reassemble all those pieces so they'd all go back in the way it was. We didn't want to have to do any painting. Whew....great job, guys!

Built an Adam Savage (of Mythbusters fame) tool cart yesterday. The design is based upon his "first-order of retrievability" theory. I think I have been operating under 4th or 5th order - now which tool box, drawer, or cabinet is that tool I need located So I've condensed 4 tool boxes and a cabinet into this. I love it. Everything in one place, visible, and retrievable.

I used one sheet of plywood, 4 caster wheels and some scrap wood pieces I had laying around. $45, all in.

Nicely done Sir Baz. We were worried about you and the weather that slammed into your area.
