^^^ Those are what I bought for the garage. They put out a lot more light, than the flat LED I had in there.

Wife was complaining that her sink and the shower were draining slow. So I figured I'd pull the drain cover and drop the sink trap.

I told her "I don't know what amazed me more. The fact that the drains were still draining or that you have any hair left on your head". Did the baking soda/vinegar cleanse and all is flowing at Craigster Manor.

But thought I'd share a cool little tub/tote I got at HD. You can tote your tools to the job, it works as a catch basin when you drop the trap, and it's flexible so you can get it into tight areas.

Sharing a tip I got from one of the plumbing dept guys at Home Depot that has been a game changer for me to prevent leaks when putting the drain back together. Hit the threads with a little schmear of vaseline. It's magic!

I thought about getting some of those when you posted about them 4 yrs ago Baz.
Problem is they wouldn't fit in the opener sockets as they're tight up against the opener body.
The long fixture lights up a good deal of the garage on both sides being high and in the middle.

I love those tubs Craig. What do you think? Will this valve close... or stop water?
I'm counting myself as lucky that all bottom plates in this basement are redwood....

I enjoy my flip flops and have been using Crocs brand for a few years now and certain ones (not all) of theirs are fantastic but....the treads tend to wear down on the bottom and then it's like walking on black ice or something when the surface is wet.

The shoe itself is still in great condition with plenty of sole thickness, so I just take my angle grinder and cut in some new treads. Really gives me much more usage from a pair!

Elvis, the Lexus RX300 that I drive to work every day, started running rough a while back and was getting worse. It was struggling and chugging a bit under a load, and my scanner detected a misfire in cylinder #6. When I had an engine installed a few years ago, the guy that did the work gave me all the coils from the old engine, so I swapped out the bad coil and now Elvis is running smooth again, and it didn't cost me anything. Sorry I didn't take any pics.

Did the drains at the house this weekend too. Bathroom sinks... So much hair!
Used my Ridgid snake on one and a coat hanger repurposed for the tub drain and second bath sink.

Was also time to go through the freezers in the house and get rid of stuff that should have been used up. I felt bad about throwing some of it away. Pretty wasteful.

Kept my phone with me all day and I did just over 2.5 km in steps and over 30 flights of stairs and didn't leave the house.

Changed the strings on a $6000 Yamaha guitar. Not mine! A retired Dr. friend of mine bought a Gibson to learn on 20 years ago. A few years ago, his wife bought him a hand built Yamaha for his birthday. The factory strings weren't coated, so by this time, the sound was degraded. I gave him a new set of coated strings and installed them today. Sweet instrument, feels like my 50 year old FG580 in the set up. Hopefully he'll enjoy playing it more now.

Im pretty much done with my MG now iv been working on the carpet. I couldnt really find suitable red carpet locally so I ended up using ten welcome mats. It turned out good. Hate the hair deal. That's why when I saw this new tailpiece assembly I jumped. The traditional lav tp's use the lever mechanism to raise and lower the plug, having a rod perpendicular to the tube under the plug is a magic hair hook and makes for a nasty cleaning job... nevermind the need to lay down and unscrew the keeper nut and rod... easy but a pia.

I dusted the walking foot pfaaf off today to prep for the headliner build job on the piper. I bought it a few years ago but this is the first job for it. I've always dreamed of living in an old warehouse, sectioned off with tools, storage and work areas for each of my interests, with an apartment in the rafters and a patio and garden on the roof.

I had an industrial machine like that it was a singer. It just had a single speed motor with a clutch that you work with your knee. I read up people converting them to a tradmill motor with variable speed. I never ended up doing anything with it my smaller machine does everything I throw at it.

Finally got around to doing some preservation work on the Volvo trim/moldings. Tried this product from Chemical Guys and am very impressed. We'll see how well it holds up.

Gearing up to do some battery installs/replacements. There's 2 different models here. Four of them for the RC26 and two of them for the RC15. Charging them up before the install this week.
