Humans can really suck

These two dirtbags go off way too easy.

We should put them in the tree and shoot them.

Sorry, I’m on my phone and can’t embed the video.

Shocking moment dad and son shoot a hibernating black bear and her two newborn cubs

On 3 April 2017, H.J. Res. 69 was signed by the current occupant, nullifying previously banned "predator control" hunting methods. Including while hibernating.

Whatever their official punishment, those two guys will have a hard time finding jobs in the future.

Cross paths with numb nutz like this regularly. Yesterday’s example had managed to shoot off the end of his own finger...with a rifle.

I think I saw that guy on a video of a swap meet. I'm pretty sure he has zero regrets.

What makes this particularly sad is that there is no thought of conservation here. the next generation is lost.
If you think about it, it is pretty much an accident that there are any Buffalo left in America. They were all shot, the only ones that survived in the wild survived because we didn't know they were there.

A Hunter is a Hunter. What makes a Hunter a Sportsman is the understanding of conservationism. It's rarely a fair fight.

What's this?

"Andrew was sentenced to five months in jail with two months suspended, and a fine of $A28,000."

Alaskan dollars? I hope it's a typo and the "A" is a 9.

Absolutely disgusting. I wish the mama bear clawed their asses like Leonardo in the Revenant.

I am also disgusted at their easy punishments..the justice system needs a revamp.

i have nothing against hunting or hunters but it seems like there are awful lot of bad ones out there,.
maybe i watch too much of northwoods law.

i use to hear the poachers in the woods at night next to where i work "hunting"
made you feel real good hearing that high powered rifle going off a few hundred yards away.

i dont get it, "something alive...me must shoot it"

yes i also own guns and the wife and I are going shooting tonight

I do and I'm not afraid to say it. I could care less if a bunch of rednecks on a sports car board don't like it either. So-called "sport hunting" is neither "sporting" nor really "hunting" in the sense of doing what's necessary to survive. Yea - attacking a (usually, in the case of deer, ducks, geese, whatever) defenseless animal from meters away with a weapon that they can't possibly protect themselves against or fight back against. Yep, really, really macho and oh-so brave.

These two idiots just expose how utterly cruel and pointless it all is with a particularly extreme example, but they have a lot more in common with run-of-the-mill so-called "sport hunters" than most in that group want to admit.

I would have enjoyed the video more if a vigilante animal activist happened to be there and pumped a 9mm into each of their temples.

They'll become contractors — the house kind. I should put that in green but it's probably true.

Weren't buffalo all shot in an effort to exterminate a different species?

A Clemson University student who set out to determine how to help turtles cross the road ended up getting a glimpse into the dark souls of some humans.

Nathan Weaver put a realistic rubber turtle in the middle of a lane on a busy road near campus. Then he got out of the way and watched over the next hour as seven drivers swerved and deliberately ran over the animal. Several more apparently tried to hit it but missed.

“I’ve heard of people and from friends who knew people that ran over turtles. But to see it out here like this was a bit shocking,” said Weaver, a 22-year-old student at Clemson’s School of Agricultural, Forest and Environmental Sciences.

To seasoned researchers, the practice wasn’t surprising.

The number of box turtles is in slow decline, and one big reason is that many wind up as roadkill while crossing the asphalt, a slow-and-steady trip that can take several minutes.

Sometimes humans feel a need to prove they are the dominant species on this planet by taking a two-ton metal vehicle and squishing a defenceless creature under the tires, said Hal Herzog, a Western Carolina University psychology professor.

“They aren’t thinking, really. It is not something people think about. It just seems fun at the time,” Herzog said. “It is the dark side of human nature.”
