Well, I just noticed that ONLY 2 teams in my bracket survived the first round.
I should take this as a sign and call for the Bruins and the Blues in the final.
It would be the "Black & Blue Series" (in more ways than one) :D

My picks were 3/4 in first games but now is where the fun begins. Second and third games are where countermeasures and line changes start to show up.

Playoff hockey that goes into OT it doesn't get much better than that .

Canes are playing excellent hockey at the moment . Starting goalie being out for any length of time could be an issue .

The 3rd period was a wild west shootout. Great game.

So far the Blues have had no fear playing on the road , if that continues that bodes well for them . But that magic can disappear in a split second that's why playoff hockey can be this exciting .

The Blue Jackets out Bruined the Bruins tonight.
Bob was playing lights out goal-tending.
The most feared #1 line in the league has been neutered.

It was a good game to watch (unless you are a Bruins fan).

Hang in there, Joe. It's a long series, and Bob is often "streaky." Gotta hope the Bruins solve him, but if they do, it can turn quickly.

Having said that, the Jackets are playing dangerous right now. Bob is on fire (gotta have that in a goalie at playoffs), and they have attitude. They owned the Caps this season, particularly Panarin. It's not as much fun to watch them when things are going well, as I enjoy watching Torts' reactions and responses to the media when things are NOT going well ;).

Sharks looked good last night and it's do or die for the Islanders tonight . Columbus playing good steady hockey .

Just getting caught up in the playoffs action. Obviously my favorite(Pens) had an inglorious exit and my second choice (Vegas) also got bounced. Going forward looking at Canes Blues in the finals with the Blues winning it all. Jackets are playing some great hockey, Sharks as well. Avalanche and Isles look gassed.

Joe--is ratman regressing or what? (2) PP goals while he watched from the box, stomping on a stick, then the cheap head shot on Harrington while he was on his knees?

Helluva hockey talent with a room temperature I.Q.
I don't have a ton of time to really get into the eastern series
(viewing most of the high-lights) - the Blues/dallas series in the west
has been very entertaining, as are all other series with the top seeds
having been eliminated.
