The Jackets are really looking strong. The Bruins NEED to get more from the first line and NEED to put Pasta down around 3rd or 4th line. Both goalies are playing Cup winning hockey. Great game.

So 3 out of 4 series are tied at 2-2 with the 4th being a runaway . The pressure ratcheting up for those series tied at 2 ........... it's a best of 3 now so ANY mistakes can send you home . I don't think it will happen but how crazy would it be for the Islanders to win 4 straight ?

Once again my stunning prediction skills (second only to "mad nunchuck skills") is continuing to be batting zero. I picked the Isles in 5. Oh well. I at least hope I get to see the Bs play the Canes.

The Islanders just were no match for the Canes . They played tough but no scoring . If they add one or two pure scorers to their line up they will be a force . I would like to see Columbus make it to the finals .

Awesome game tonight with Bruins/Blue Jackets. The Jackets were behind but didn't give up and it came down to the last minute of play to determine who won.
Both teams playing very physical games. Doc quotes Tortorella when he talks about how People say this series is really physical hockey. "but I think it is just hockey". I love it.

Yesterday's Bruins/Jackets game was a great game . I know it sounds silly but even though 7 goals were scored both goalies played fantastic ! The Jackets looked a little sluggish and when they went down 2-0 I thought that might be it . A crazy 3rd period with pucks clanking off the posts . Just a great game .

Not at all, I once lost a game 5-3 but I made 64 saves in the effort. OK so it was DIII hockey but still.

Blues / Stars G7 can go either way. We'll see who wants it more.

Did anyone see where Ben Bishop went down after a hit to the collarbone? That is an area that used to have more protection before the changes to the goalie pads at the beginning of the season. That one shot is one of the reasons why the goalies protested the changes.

Bruins/Blue Jackets - brutal game. Both teams pumped up to the max. The McAvoy hit being only 2 minutes surprised me. I think Milbury called it when he said if it was regular season it would have been a 5 minute major.

I am glad Anderson came back. I wonder if there will be any mention from player safety or if they'll just let it go since its playoffs.
The B's are looking better. I think they have a real shot at the final this year. We'll see how much the Canes momentum will help them as they go deeper. They also going to see an even heavier hitting series than they've had thus far.

My guess is he misses game 1. They can’t let hits like that go.
