My anti- McGyver moment. Sewing.

Haha. I’m an idiot!

Several weeks ago I had a Supervisor convince me to move heavy boxes that she had shoehorned under her desk. I blew out the crotch of my Pantalones. Pants.

This morning: my last presentation! I dressed in the dark. Snuck out at 4:30am, careful not to wake the wife. I drove to Sacramento.

The sit down, look down and see my folly. I put on the torn pants. Hahaha. What an idiot!

I’m not a seamstress by any stretch of the words. But I did sew my pants with the finess of a Spider-Man web blast. I’m walking carefully and not keeping my legs akimbo. Gonna be a long day. Hehe.

Hey Vash you have got some of the best posts. Wild game meat one day and sewing your own pants the next. Sewing is certainly a good skill to have. You are doing well and almost self sufficient.

I have a few of those hotel sewing kits stashed in all my luggage and work bag for just such an incident. Luckily I've only had to mend the occasional sock hole or pant hem, no "rear work" thus far.

Beat me to it.

When I was a HVAC guy my co-worker would hem his blue jeans with duct tape.

Vash, since you turned me onto the Prana hiking pants it is hard to get me out of them (unless you are my wife )

Things are nigh on indestructible.

I’d kill for a pair of my Prana Zions right now. I did however tear my green Zions. I was squeezing my fat ass between a pair of boulders and ripped the belt loop right in the middle , in back.

Green pant, tan thread. Looking good! It was and easy fix.

Don't use scissors to trim the affected area. We don't need another "I cut my sack" thread...

Legs Akimbo! Didn't he play with the Utah Jazz back the '90's with John Stockton and Karl Malone?

Now that everything is gender neutral you could have just thrown on a skirt and gone to the meeting!

Duct taping up a kind of chastity belt would have been a great creative challenge, but ... well, it's a duct tape chastity belt on a guy. People would talk.

Actually, the best move would be to simply buy underwear the same color as you pants and just leave people guessing. If they as, say: "Ventilation is great."
