Those effin' My Pillow commercials!
They're on all the freaking time with their ridiculous claims. And that dude with his crucifix necklace. I don't trust anyone who advertises their faith, especially when they're hawking crap.

You are experiencing the reason for the remote... use it. Just mute it if you don't wanna surf during the ads. It's liberating. Silence is golden and all that kinda stuff.
I'm sick of that guy and his awesome pillows, too. He should cut his ad budget by 75% and see if he still sells lot of those thangs. For everyone's sanity. I would like to try one. Not for $42, though.

Those are on my list right behind the AAMCO commercials on local radio. Bordering on outright lies!

I'll buy his stupid pillow if Liberty mutual agrees to stop their ads.
Will NEVER buy Liberty insurance simply because I'm sick of their ads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh that Liberty Life used to ring my office many years ago nearly every day despite my telling them not to do so again during every call. Eventually I obtained the local managers name, and went down to his office and "confronted " him forcefully in front of his staff. Funnily enough, the calls stopped thereafter.

I can't stand all the child commercials with their fake voices, crappy fake dubbed in voices that are supposed to make the little rug rat so "adohable"

I use the mute button more now than ever. Besides the annoying pillow commercials, the Liberty Mutual ads are suspect because from my experience, they don't seem to be true. They must get their ad budget from the legit claims they don't pay, as I found out. I'll never be a customer for either the pillow or Liberty Mutual.

My TV watching drives my wife nuts. I'll have two programs on at once. My cable box automatically saves the content of the last two channels I visited. When a commercial comes on program A I switch to program B, rewind to the end of the last commercial, watch until an ad comes, on, switch back to A, rewind, etc. Sometimes I do it just to piss her off. She's so cute when she's mad.

my wife is a great wife, very considerate and always thinking of others.
she bought those stupid pillows for all us for Christmas. it goes between my legs because I sleep on my side. it feels like it is stuffed with shipping "peanuts" then filled with air. I cant complain to her because she means well. almost got off on a rant about steaks she bought last night but I deleted it.

I bought a My Pillow. It's rather comfortable. YMMV.

Well brace yourselves, F1 season is coming soon. The few sponsors they have seem to think that bombarding the fans with the same ads 8 or 10+ times over the broadcast is good for them.
Not in my opinion, at a certain point it becomes counterproductive and drives the fan into a place of avoiding their product as a result. I for one would respond well to a sponsor that chose to limit their ads in favor of letting the viewer enjoy the race, then do their ads a time or two. During the Datona 500, they broke in at least four times between lap 25 and lap 10 to let the viewer know they could watch NASCAR on NBC sports. During this part of the race it went from two and three wide racing to the last ten uninterrupted laps of mostly single file saving fuel running to the last lap. What are they thinking? It drove me to send the NBC management a note about this choice and how it impacts the viewer experence. Cheers Richad Last edited by tevake; 02-28-2017 at 06:12 AM.. |

I'm told they are the worst pillow ever.
The head guy is being investigated for something right now, big surprise. They had a staff manned display at Costco the other day, my wife did not approve. How come all the weird people have weird hair?

My wife and I have these pillows. Very comfortable and give a good night's sleep. Again, YMMV.

My go-to pillow since I was very young has been a latex foam pillow. You used to be able to find them just about anywhere, but these days it's all about that memory foam crap (which incidentally is much cheaper to make than latex foam). After a few years of trying other pillows, I finally found a good source for good latex foam pillows again.
My mom has been trying to find a pillow that she likes for about a year and even bought two of the pillows mentioned above. She hated them. I think she's going to get one of the latex foam pillows that I just bought.
