New Weed/Beer

Picked this up today from our local conv store. Made with 'real hemp seeds'
Taste is bland..I'll stick with Two-Hearted Ale.
8% ABV

Did the taste hint of weed in any way?

There is the smoke smell in the room, taste of smoking it and then the wiff of the bag full of nice buds. Anything close to these smells?

Rec weed is legal in 10 states MM in 33 if you want a THC high just go get some.

FWIW Hemp is very low in THC and is mostly grown for fiber products.

When I opened it, I smelled a slight hint of pot...but the taste was like a wine cooler..without the fruit flavor...lol

Back in the dark ages, before Reagan, when pot HAD seeds....ya had to use a double album, frisbee, etc. to clean the bastids out....

I saw an ad recently for some breweries out here releasing some "dank" beers for 4/20.
It was not clear to me if there was anything besides lots of resinous hops in them.

It really isn't the best vehicle for THC consumption. If people want to get high, go nuts, but I think you are better off taking 'dosages' of alcohol and THC separately.

and if you missed one the whirling smoke signal just before the thing popped and exploded warning of the foul tasting smoke that would ensue was at least a sign to give it a second to clear the device was convenient….


if you've not watched murder mountain on Netflix about humbolt county's cannabis production over the last few generations I highly recommend it. there is a couple of topics covered in the 5-6 episode doc series, but the early episodes cover how they illegally imported indica seeds from the middle east in the early 70's that revolutionized the potency of the product.
