Can i fit a Porsche and a grader in my garage?
Why yes.......yes i can.
I broke the rear window in the town grader last week while winging back snow banks. One of the tire chains broke and a link from the chain flew up and hit the rear window. Pow.....a million pieces. The window is glued in and the glue needs to be above 50 degrees to use it. The town garage isn't big enough to fit it in and the weather has been in the 30's this week so i moved my 1 ton and tractor out, rolled the 911 ahead a little, and drove it in.

I park small vehicles in my garage just so that it looks bigger.

Speaking of the grader. The back window may have saved your bacon from the flying chain link and a glued up back window won't give you that protection. the town should pay for new (safety) glass.
But back on topic; yes a very impressive garage! |

I think he was saying the window is held in with an adhesive and gluing in the new window / replacement glass needs to happen above 50 degrees for the adhesive to work.

Great garage. You seem to have a bunch of nice toys. I'd like to have a grader too.

Get off my lawn!
|
I have driven my 911 up to Pete's house. Nice place, and the view is pretty as well. And he is nice guys with a lovely wife.
Lotsa trees in that part of the world. I guess they call it a green mountain state for a reason.

Regarding the glass, tempered glass has to be special ordered while laminated glass can be cut at the local shop. Laminated would be much safer against another thrown chain.
