Noise canceling headphones. Whoa!

I regret NOT buying them sooner. Holy crap!

I’ve been listening to podcast with the OEM earbuds. Not the better iPhone Lightning ones either. The headphone jack ones that static at every jostled move. Total suck.

I’m flying on airlines a lot. Tomorrow even. Then weeks of turbo-prop rides I think I LOVE my new Bose headphones. LOVE!

Which ones? QC25 (on sale at Costco when I bought them last year) or the newer QC35 that is wireless? I don't travel by plane that often to justify the premium of the wireless earphones.

Nice, I’ve got Plantronics Voyager 8200 UC, which are comparable to the Bose QC35s.

I Think I paid about $270, but I found a deal at Christmas for a buddy to get them for $220.

Now that listening is enjoyable, consider some others! If you like Malcolm Gladwell, Revisionist History is pretty good.

I gave the 35's to my smokin' hot babe for Christmas. Changed her life, she says.

Being the complete nerd engineer I am, the technology behind "noise cancelling" is pretty damn fascinating.

I bought some "cheap" NC headphones after Thanksgiving from Amazon. "Ti" was the brand and they definitely work well. Bluetooth and direct cable connect.

Above neighbor has grand kids and they like to use my ceiling as a trampoline when they visit.

Will these headphones help?

Are they effective to use while operating machinery like tractors and saws? My cheapo radio headphones crapout after a couple years and need to be replaced with quality this time.

I don’t think so. Loud stuff, I assume still needs proper PPE.

Some guy ignores all the empty seats and squeezed into the middle seat between me and a young Asian lady.

Somebody please invent smell canceling nose-phones ASAP. Dude smelled like garlic, curry and sweat.

We are about to have a Professor at University of Houston fired, or at least censured, for sending out a curtesy paper in his class. Most of it was to do with paying attention in class (phones, tables, internet, talking, etc.), but he also said that people of different cultures tend to smell a bit different. So everyone, please take showers, use deodorant and mouthwash...

Yep, he's a gonner...
