Sad, abandoned, (non-P) car thread
Do we have this yet? Searched but did not find, so...

Hard to understand that. What's with the camshaft? Wire wheels on these cars were pretty rare out of the 105 produced. I think that would be a "road car."

An easy restoration, will buff out like new....
Provided you have a few 100K to do it...

In 1978 I passed up a perfect example of this car because it's leather interior needed refurbishing. Asking price was $15,000 -- reasonable for the time, but still a lot of money for me. Woulda, shoulda, coulda.

Sad Haul
Look like mostly GM cars from 50's. Sad regardless.

Its a Mercedes, put some fresh gas, plugs and a battery and it should fire right up.

^^^^^ a good ending actually - someone bought the whole deal just like it sits and completely restored the rig and the cars. There's a few pics out there on the interwebs of the project- it was very nicely done.
