Engine cover - Needed or Cosmetic?
Hi,
I have bought a new to me Hyundai Tucson that came without the engine cover.. so I just checked in google if that part is needed or not.. and seems this a topic with many comments... Could I ask for your opinion? I am not sure if I should get one or not.. Needed or just Cosmetic? Thank you

Probably cosmetic. My RX8 has a simple plastic cover that just gets in the way. My F150 has one with sound deadening that helps to quiet the direct injector tick.

Cosmetic but I'd try to find one... And as you have experienced these covers are often misplaced and when it come time to sell that may be a problem.
