Fun at the Fred Meyer

Just a little light hearted fun...

I was at the register in my local Fred Meyer this morning, buying a couple of cans of clear Rustoleum spray paint. About the time I'm ready to check out, a Lynnwood cop gets in line behind me. So, I look at the cashier and say "ruh-roh... busted. I was gonna tag some overpasses, but it looks like I've been caught red handed. There's no escaping the long arm of the law."

The cop looks at my spray cans and says "uh, sir, those are both clear..."

So, I responded "I've long suspected I'm doing something wrong... never said I was any good at it..."

Anyway, we all had a good little chuckle. Just a silly story I thought I would share.

In Los Angeles, I've seen spray-paint tags, on a chainlink fence.?

That's what we have for brains here. 99% of the spray, as Vash says, "poof... gone."

Train tracks parallel the road on my commute. Much of the graffiti on the rail cars is pretty intricate. I wish I could read or understand it.

I've noticed that too, on trains all over the country, the last bastion of graphitty. Lots of complex multi colored , some very artistic works.
Pretty Cool venue as they travel around with folks stopped to watch them roll by.

Challenge to be read or understand some with the train at speed.
Got to wonder about when/ where the painting is done.

Cheers Richard

Ha. Saw the Fred Meyer (didn't see it was you, Higgs) in the title and knew it had to be someone from the PNW.
