We can meet for coffee on Sunday morning and work on the cars.:D

You city people are funny...

We have excellent neighbors and one even stays at our place when we go away to keep an eye on things and feed the animals. It helps that our closest neighbor is 3/4 of a mile away. We are also buying the 140 acres immediately north of our 1/4 section so that will help maintain our ‘people buffer’.

going to my wifes house that she grew up in and her dad still lives in, there is a house down the road with a BOAT sitting on the edge of a big bank right beside the road. the bank was also lined with old toilets, all to piss off the neighbor. it was quite funny.

I was going to do the same thing to my neighbor except I was going to line the bank along the pond facing his house, then I was going to sit on them while I fished.

putting my neighbor is an A-hole will NOT help sell your house, but it makes a point. good one.

my neighbor put up 2 small private property signs facing my house. so I went to the OTHER neighbor and asked if I could put a sheet of plywood on their property facing his. they said yes.
so I had a huge 4x8 sheet right on the edge of his property that said "private property, rednecks do it better"
he called the cops no me for it. I told the cop I did it because it was funny. he laughed and said it was. he did not do anything. I took it down a week later.

his.

I only did it to show how much of an A$$ he was being with the private property crap.
plus it was funny.
I was never mad or hated them, it was just fun.

his wife had a mouth on her.
when their dog came through the fence and on to my property (after they called the police on me because my dog was on theres, before the fence) I chased it back with a broom, yes it was very vicious towards me and my dog does not like little dogs. she came out cussing me with constant "F" words. I just waved and smiled.

No but I've been tempted in the past. I had a burned out , alcoholic woman next to me that had the most vulgar lifestyle EVAR. She'd come to my door drunk literally asking me to "hang" with her even if my kids were with me! She'd often leave her bedroom window open and scream the most bizarre stuff when getting laid. Fortunately she left after two years and I've been neighbor lucky ever since.

The only time I had really bad neighbors was at my first apartment. It was a dump of an apartment, and all I could afford back then at a $90 per month for a furnished garage apartment. With that price, it attracted the um, lower economic layer of society, and I was one of them. One couple were total stoners, and good only for making noise. The garage apartment was up 13 steps and the entire structure was old and cheaply made. They loved to RUN up and down the stairs and that would literately rock my bed. They liked to crank up the music upstairs loud enough to hear it while they worked on the truck downstairs, and the had to make frequent beer and bong runs up and down the stairs.

The next morning at 7:00AM I turned my speakers on my 1,000 watt stereo system to face their apartment and put it up so loud I could feel it in my guts. Somehow I forgot to turn it off until I came home for lunch.

About a week later a just divorced buddy of mine was looking for a roommate. He found a really nice duplex and it was like the Beverly Hillbillies moving to the mansion for me. My monthly rent went up, but I finally had a place I could invite a girl home to um "talk" with for the evening.

Neighbors, congestion, taxation out of control, cost of living in general. Moved from SoCal to Central Texas last year. Got a new home, less than 2 years old and 45 acres out in the country, few neighbors nearby. Closest one is super friendly and very helpful.
