When the container ships, oil ships get offshore say 60 miles they switch from diesel to bunker fuel or fuel oil. Thick black plumes across the oceans.

All forms of energy pollute except the suns rays, and those have deadly UV if you stay out too long.
Oklahoma is number two in the United States for electrical generation with wind farms. We don't have any hydroelectric, or nuclear. Mostly natural gas and some coal plants. Anyone that once uses electricity is instantly addicted. My mother in law talks about when he parents first got electricity to the farm she would sneak back to her room and just marvel at the magic of flipping a switch and having lights. She would turn it on and off until her dad yelled at her to stop that. All of us have suffered with a black out. We know the electricity is out yet we walk into a room and flip the switch, then do a forehead slap knowing the lights are not going to work without electricity. We all hate pollution, but we all use electricity, and chemicals and plastic to live.
