(in PARF) FOX video autoplays with sound. No controls.

I don't like it at all. How do I fix this?
There are no controls in the video player.

I'm using Waterfox which won't allow me to install any addons for some reason.
There is no 'disable auto play' feature in Waterfox that I'm aware of.
Before, when using Firefox with NoScript it would just block all videos and ads.

I'm just wondering what happens if a web page contains ten different video posts, plus you're already playing music?

The video link did not transcribe using copy/paste text, but here is post #234 for reference:

Uh. This is computer technical question scrappy.
Not PARF..where anything goes.
I can separate that side from this. Can you separate fringe ideas from real people which you share common interest with?
And I have far more right to speak on those sorts of subjects than yourself. Keep it in yer pants.

I thought Safari was for Mac only but that is an interesting idea. thx.
I've trying out different browsers including Opera.
Still not satisfied.
Internet standards are still changing again in a big way it seems. All the great tweaks are being killed off.
Firefox was getting very good until Mozilla did itself in.

(hmm to note that embedded video did not transcribe first time around. Now it does. No idea how long it plays or if it loops. )

Satisfied?

OMG. Left shop an hour ago and would not auto-play there with Firefox.

Home and it auto-plays with same browser.

The only thing I have noticed different about the home browser is that Bing has taken over my search engine from Google. I can't seem to clear it out even with redirecting home page.

Is Levin a Jewish name? I dated a girl last name Tobin. She said I do one "JAP-py" thing. She had her baseboards wiped down once a month. She had tremendous twins. Does this help?

My first three gf in HS were jewish. I cleaned the hell out of those baseboards till they glistened but it didn't seem to help. They all turned ghey after I touched them. Call me King Midas. I swear I didn't do it whatever that was. Now what were we talking about again?

Find the star at the bottom right corner.

Click on it, then click on the autoplay and disable it

That's the problem...
There is no visible taskbar or controls even with mouse hover.

I am on a Win 7 machine running Firefox 66.0.whatever and have the controls to start, stop, and adjust the audio on the video in this thread, and the PARF thread. Only addon I have is NoScript.

I get similar results in Opera, version 58.whatever running thru Opera's built in VPN.

I have run into video where there were no controls. Do not recall which website or which browser. I just closed out the website/webpage to deal with it.

Ok, if I refresh this page, the video does autostart, but I can turn the video or audio off. The mouse over works for me.

Ok, while I am typing away, you guys are talking about Jewish girlfriends. Can we skip the video discussion, and discuss the Jewish girlfriends, unless there is video of said Jewish girlfriends.

That's not a star! It's a gear! James, what kind of car guy are you?

I once had a Hispanic GF, does that count for anything?

My honeymoon with Waterfox has come to an end.
-It won't allow installing addons to block scripts, take screenshots, or capture video, etc.
-I caught it using 3.4GB of RAM. (Yeeeeah if you could just go out that door right there and keep walking that would be great.)

-I've never have Google Chrome installed and never willingly will.
-MS Edge also runs automatically and can't be uninstalled.
-Companies have recently become much more aggressive while they are stealing our customer data.

(btw CCleaner is now owned by Avast with sneakly-installs itself with CCleaner. It always updates itself to the latest version even when updating is turned off. I also read of some complaint that it was contacting home a bit too much, or something to that effect)
