OEM looking radios?

I am looking for an upgrade for my R53 Mini, and want something that doesn't look like the Vegas strip in my dash.

I found some VDO, and a Continental decks that look okay... wondering what people have found.

Not OEM looking but subdued compared to what's out there right now.

This one from Pioneer uses your smart phone as the display. (The radio works without a phone attached)
This makes a lot of sense to me. "Pioneer SPH 10BT"

Multiple threads about this on the 911 Technical boards. Continental is the brand most of the vintage 911 guys are purchasing.

Have the Blau. from Dad's '63 356 he never put in the '65 that replaced it (totaled in accident). One day, stock market willing, I'll be able to restore the 356. At that point, I'll be gutting original radio and stuffing a Raspberry Pi and some other goodies in the body of it.

I looked for a "period correct" or not freaking ugly stereo for a while for my 911 and for El Camino. I can't care less about radio, and I did not want a CD or DVD player, just Bluetooth to my phone, and a USB drive player. I don't bother with Bluetooth often, but it is nice when I use my phone as a GPS to find some address. The main thing I wanted is to plug my USB thumb drive into the stereo, and set it to random play, all songs. It plays my 16 gig worth of music in random order. Both are rather ugly and stupid looking, but work fine.

The stereos in both cars were under $60 each. Totally disposable if they crap out. I would love one that does not look like it was built by a 12 year in the style of Tron, but those are expensive and just unnecessary. I have my OEM AM/FM only radio from my El Camino on a shelf, and the Blaupunkt that came with my 911. They will remain on the shelf.
