If you found 30 bricks of cocaine

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwij97v8383iAhVRb60KHeddC70QwqsBMAB6BAgJE AQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.msn.com%2Fen-us%2Fvideo%2Fbe-prepared%2Ffishermen-find-30-bricks-of-cocaine%2Fvp-AACkqzC&usg=AOvVaw0nOfyvXypC9pIqYwIKCxXz

I used to have this really interesting customer. I called him the pirate . He had an old hopped up dodge diesel dually. Big mean bearded looking biker dude . He lived in the Fla Keys, but would come through town here about twice a year and would always have me service his truck while he was here .
He was tied in with some bikers , not sure to what extent .
He confided in me, that he made his living intercepting drug shipments , by following the currents . Said they would wait, till they heard the engines cut, then make their move . I guess they knew exactly where it would wash up.
They would then move it up to New York City. Why he told me all this, Ill never know, but it was interesting as hell to me .
He was a friend of a friend, and when I asked if he was fos. My buddy told me , it was all true. Suitcases full of cash .
If I found that much blow, boy, it would be temping to try to fence it .

I don’t have connection anymore. I could call my douche brother in law. But he’d probably rip me off on the deal.

Legal issues aside, I'd be afraid the "real owner" would catch up to me...

My brother, who lives in Alabama, said he was scouting a new area for deer hunting. He came upon a clearing and saw fish hooks hanging from trees, and a field of pot. He carefully but hastily backed out, and left the area.

With drugs, I would leave it alone, and GTFO ASAP. Cash might make me think a bit longer and it would 100% depend on the situation and location.

Ding, ding, ding.

If I found a backpack or something laying around, I'd peak inside. If it looked like drugs, I'd be hauling ass away from there and would call the cops.

If it was cash, that would be much more tempting, but having to constantly look over your shoulder would suck.

Cash is one thing. Trying to get rid of 30 kilos of cocaine, you're bound to step on somebody's toes and they won't be very nice.

Who knows. I was interested, but honestly , did not want to know a whole lot more than he was offering up .

Always wondered where I heard that term. I barely remember Kojak. I was just a little one back then. Can vaguely remember Mom, and Dad watching it .

Two stories.

There was a local surfer who found a stray brick of coke in the surf while he was on dawn patrol. He looked around and was pretty much alone. He shuffled it through the break and onto the beach.

He took it up over the dune line and buried it.

The waited a week and kept an eye on it and on the beach.

Then one morning he dug it up and had made arrangements to sell it all at once.

Legend has it he opened a surf shop up in the panhandle with the money.

My friends dad lived int he Keys, back in the 80's he would see helicopters come in hover then leave. There would be activity in the are where it was then it would be all quiet.

The old man would head over to the spot with a broom and dust pan.

So much scatter left behind, after a few years he had sold off enough to buy himself a new fishing boat.

If I were to stumble upon some obvious strays, I would like to think I would be tempted to grab it and sell it.

In reality I would probably crap my pants and run away.
