BAvaria..kinda like heinechen but no aftertaste and a bit more sourdoughy tasting

What ever you're havin'. I like a hienie, but the best beer I've ever tasted I got in the Grand Canyon at one of the resorts/restaurants. The germanic sounding one with the Hopi ruins if anyone else has been there. The beer started with an "M" and it sounded kinda like Motrin. Real dark. Draft. Nummy.

I was never much of a beer drinker, It made me swing by the toilet bowl every 10 minutes. I was into rum and cokes. Gave it all up years ago, and only manage a drink on especial occasions.

Living in Europe for a while and living close to Canada growing up, I got spoiled on good beer. In no particular order - depends on what is available in the "import" section of the liquor store. I make my own. Prefer heavy Oktoberfest beer and a nice Merlot wine with a touch of elderberries. Oh, women love a good Merlot with a quality piece of chocolate melting in their mouths. They say it is better than sex.

Perminator, the Terminator beer. We used to give that stuff to young airman when they first got to Germany... Always bet them they couldn't drink a six pack. Never lost a bet. Guinness for me please.

Guinness, Boddingtons Pub Ale - For sipping Bass Ale, Newcastles Brown, XX, Sapporo - for slurping Coors regular - When I want to drink a gallon of beer I'm very much into the brew pub thing, here in S. Cali I like Belmont, Huntington, Manhaten, Morro bay, breweries. Goose Island Chicago, John Harvard Boston, and the list goes on...
