Elissa Is Going To Duke
After all the upsets in the last 2 years and almost losing her, a ray of light shined on her today. She had friends over to swim and we get a phone call and my wife runs inside to talk. They were on the phone for over an hour and I knew it was Medical. My wife has been fighting the system with calls to State Senators office and insurance daily.
So Sharon came outside and we were shocked that both Duke and her insurance agreed to start planning her appointment with the Lung Transplant Team at DUKE. With a **** Load of problems behind us and a long trip in the Future. Elissa has really gotten upset with how the system works and has always wanted to go to Duke for lungs. Thanks for your support. We are going to have a heck of a dinner tonight.

What a young Lady you have.
The Lung Transplant Team at Duke is lucky to have her...

Great news!
You three have been so persistent, determined, and have pulled together as a family so well through all of these challenges. The time for your reward has come. Here's hoping they can get to Elissa soon and with total success! Cheers Richard Last edited by tevake; 07-11-2019 at 07:39 PM.. |
