Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Hopefully this link works for all who watch. Ideally, if you sit in a chair that rotates, you can watch this video of a flight and get a 360 degree view by rotating around. Look up and down to with your phone or iPad. Whatever direction you turn your looking around. It was shot with a 360 camera.
If it doesn’t work through the forum, open it directly In the YouTube app on a phone or iPad/tablet. Hopefully it work and you can enjoy the full view. As the plane approached the runway at Catalina, pan forward and you can watch the other planes land on the runway as he flys next to them for the shot. https://youtu.be/gv1HEv1Pacc

A very rare biplane flew into Placerville today to pick up some control surface repairs for yet another rare bird.
This plane is the only one in the world and an interesting fun fact, it was used to transport two horses out of a snow bound property back in the day when it was used as a real working plane in Alaska. The horses were sedated to calm their nerves and the top panel was removed just behind the wing for their head to stick out. I was told that the plane can fly so slow, speed wasn’t an issue with getting them out of the property rather than putting them down due to lack of food.
