Mob mentality at it's finest , if I was a regional manager in that district I would stress to corporate to close the store . Transfer the employees if possible and cut your losses . No excuse for that behavior other than you are a drain on society . Everyone wants to be treated equally ........ guess what then act like a law abiding citizen !!!

My employer of long ago was a large department store chain. One time we had a group pull a stunt like this in several of our stores where they grabbed leather jackets.

A week later, one of our northern California stores started experiencing huge returns of leather jackets but our system would mail a check if you did not have a receipt. In the end, we never mailed any checks. We did of course incur the inconvenience and the cost of having to ship the merchandise back to the stores.
