GB500 are cool little bikes. Didn’t sell that well new, but now have a bit of a cult following. As such prices were creeping up last time I checked.
What’s the asking price?

um...yes and yes. What was the question again?

Those upside-down trailer tires look automotive width.
Smooth on the highway...but with more drag, lower mpg, more ball link wear, and not very adept for tight backing up spots.

I had one for a few years. Loved it. The only bike I rode up and down the Angeles Crest highway then turned around and did it again. Very much a momentum bike. Typical Honda build. Rubbish on freeways but you shouldn’t be on freeways if you are riding a bike. What’s the point? Would have kept it but my Dad wanted it so I shipped it to the U.K. how ironic.

I cannot believe the money those GB500s are fetching these days. Kind of a cool idea - a British single that runs every day. Kinda like the original Miata - a British sports car that runs every day.

I took the bike straight up and down and the boat sideways.

Cool little thumper. Never ridden one but they are sweet. As for the boat, I grew up in lake country, lots of Chris Crafts around.

It’s actually a single cylinder bike, never mind the twin exhaust pipes.

It’s a single. Two down pipes are from a four valve head.

Yep, well, the orientation of the last G-sensor ping.

Same basic motor as my XR650L. Separate exhaust ports for each of the two exhaust valves. My XR650L has a single carb and siamesed intake ports, where I know the early XR500's actually had two carbs. I think the GB500 may have had two carbs as well.

Very cool, Jeff. a four-valve 650 Honda thumper would be a lot of fun to ride. It could climb trees slowly.

There is a thread about it in OT before.

Essentially your phone is saving data of which way is "up" .

This means that the picture displays properly anywhere that reads this "up" tag.

Our forum does not, so it gets displayed in the orientation your phone saved it.

Don't take pics up/down and swap ends for sideways.
