Found at an estate sale today - Porsche content

Well. This is tempting...It's a modified '84. I'm told they're currently entertaining offers of 20k....
Early EFI apparently.

Wait...is it an actual 930 or a Carrera made into a turbo? It looks like more than 20k worth of parts, I’d be tempted as well.

That would be tempting. I'd be crawling all over that car....and figuring out where 20,000 is gonna come from...

Pretty sure it’s not a 930. Front fenders don’t seem correct? Hard to tell for sure. Tim

To answer the above question, Carrera turned into a turbo.
Google doesn't pull much up with this VIN at all.

Looks entertaining. I’d seriously consider playing at that price range.

You kidding me? That's a full on stage 3 protomotive setup from the looks. I have an 85 with a stage 1 and a modern gt35 and its a hoot. If it runs, its the best 20k Porsche you'll ever drive.

without vin, that doesn't look like a 930. Those are 964 lights. At 20k, I say buy it and have fun

there is 20K in the engine alone, is that a G50 shifter, those aren't cheap. Just about any 911 G body is a 30K car these days.

Buy it, clean it up, add some "outlaw" bits and BAT it for a nice profit.

That is a no-brainer. I'd buy that on the spot for 20k. Get it before someone else does!

- 8/93 registered to new owner in WA at 72K miles
- 11/93 reported stolen
- 11/93 theft recovery
- 12/94 loan reported, exempt from odometer reporting (maybe the speedo was removed?)
- 3/01 serviced in Alameda, CA
- 3/01 passed emissions inspection in CA
- 7/01 new owner reported in WA, exempt from odometer reporting
- 3-4/04 failed emissions inspections 4 times
- 4/04 passed emissions in WA
- 12/12 serviced in Seattle at 131K miles
- 9/16 oil & filter in Everett, WA at 136K miles
- 4/18 new battery in Seattle, WA at 139K miles

Based on the tattle take needle on the boost gage, it appears to be at .9 bars. It would have a massive turbo lag with that IC depending on the turbo. It’s probably around 350 HP.

If you don’t want it, I’d probably like a shot on it. This would be more fun than driving my turbos around. What does it have for brakes?

Probably a hundred hp more than that. Protomotive says 485 with the most recent kit. This one is older but it would still be close...
