Saw this on the side of the road today. Not a gladiator but in the family.

Ok, So I ordered a Rubicon model with a MANsmision, every one I have seen so far is an automatic. ordered 11-19 goes on production line line 9 dec I might get it by January. I am so ready to downsize from a fullsize and Grace is 5'6" at 10 years old. 4 doors are going to be great. plus I will be back in a Jeep.

Nice!

I really like the 6 speed transmission choice! What other options did you get?

100%. I DD my 1996 Land Cruiser and only take the Tundra out when I need the truck. It feels HUGE in comparison.

I'll be interested in your observations after you get some miles on it.

Nice, similar in a Wrangler except the LED and body colored flares. I was surprised how few 6MT models were around.

Congrats- sounds like a fun rig! I'm surprised you're getting it as soon as 2 months. Post pics!

Please post a review after you've lived with it for a few months...

I really like the new Gladiator however it's too expensive, needlessly over-teched and FCA quality is just not very good.

It pains me to say this as I have owned ten Jeeps over the years (1 YJ, 3 XJs, 1 MJ, 4 TJs, 1 LJ) and have wanted a Wrangler-based Jeep pick-up since I sold my old Comanche.

Gladiator.

How the cannibal felt about his mother-in-law.

my old Comanche suffered from some quality control issues when new but turned out to be a decent truck when everything was repaired.

Well I ordered on 16 Nov, received it on 11 Jan. I have a little less than 500 miles on it but I think I really like it.

What’s not to like. Can put 37” tires on it with a leveling kit. If I can get a motorcycle in the truck bed I might have to get one of these next time I’m in the market.
