Something I wouldn't wish on anyone. Sad news indeed. Lord, when my time's up...a nice sudden fatal heart attack, please.

Sad news for sure.

One of the more enjoyable shows on TV and he has been at it for 35 years.

Wish him the best in this situation.

Luck in this case would be dying of a heart attack right now. That is terrible news, very sad. I've lost a family member to it, it's quick and brutal at the same time.

Yet I believe RBG was diagnosed similarly 3 or 4 years ago and still shows up for work...supposedly. Thoughts and prayers Alex.

Complex owner has pancreatic cancer. Last summer I asked, "You losing weight?"

He futzed around for four months and then said he was going to the Mayo Clinic for a miracle surgery.

He did and prognosis was it's too far gone, can't clear it out.

The other day, three guys walking around complex. Two I recognize. I yell, You guys seen Joe? The third guy was Joe. 160 from 240 and he was tough as nails.

Nasty stuff. Jobs died from that. It eats you to nothing.

Thoughts are with Trebek.

This is what killed my father. Not the most comfortable way to go. If this is what takes me out, I'm going to finally check out poppy products. Thank you, Mr. Trebec.

Ugh sad news indeed. You know it’s a sneaky disease when a guy with resources like he must have gets mugged by it.

The only game show I like to watch . He always seems to be a very nice person. Hate to see this happen. May his remaining time be as easy as possible.

When pancreas cancer metastisizes, it goes to the liver first. Miserable way to go.

Cali's still a death with dignity state, correct?

Death catches all of us someday, just a question of when. I agree with the others here, hope his remaining journey is pain free and with comfort.

Do not know him, but hope and pray for the best.

One of my best friends was diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic right as we both turned 50.

This news makes this week hard for me.

But I recall with fond regard all of the support he got as he battled, and appreciate the contributions he made to our country as he battled.

And from that experience, I will never forget how connected all humans are, whether they know it or not. And I will never stop reminding folks about that from that one singular example.

People like Obama, Brennan, and Mueller, and even Aaron Rodgers are part of that story.

Sad to hear that news yesterday. We tape and watch Jeopardy religiously. Got to keep the brain cells exercised. Lost a couple of goods friends with that dreaded cancer. Both gone in just a few months. Good luck Alex, you are a class act indeed.
