Anyone in the news industry knows a lot of "On air" TV talking heads are just talking heads, and have no clue about a lot of life. I worked in the news industry as a newspaper and magazine photographer. The TV folks think they are the only important ones in any room.
The old days when newspapers had real reporters, they rarely got along with TV folks. The newspaper guys actually knew and worked a story, the TV folks just stood in front of a TV camera and spouted the same gibberish as before. I watched a TV reporter shove a microphone in the face of a man hugging his family that had just escaped a fire and was watching the fire department try to save their house. The reporter asked the favorite question, "how does this make you feel" and the dad showed him very clearly as he punched him right in the face real hard. Evidently the station manager watched the footage and told the reporter to think how he would feel in that situation. No charges were filed.

I can only think of the jeans that had brass/copper rivets and what those may have done to paint back in the dukes of hazzard days. I'm sure several are guilty of doing the same, and those cars are worth quite more now. I only saw the slide on the ferd, or was it LR.

That was is my city this weekend. I couldn't believe it.
A lot of people don't understand how much work goes into these beautiful cars on display. Glad the inept fool lost his job. I was naïve and just built an AC Cobra. Butler Racing Pallet Kit. Anyway, when I got it on the road and registered, it was a show winner. Squeaky clean. no miles. One event that I won the guy giving out all the trophies walked me back to the trunk of his nice classic car. while I was waiting for him to present me with the nice plaque for Class winner, I leaned on the hood of his car. I don't remember what it was. I think it was a two door 57 chevy. Oh Boy.... He saw me leaning up on his car and lit into me like nothing I have seen before. I quickly learned... don't touch anyone's stuff. |

The guy hasn't said much since being fired, other than saying his actions were taken out of context and "misinterpreted"...that seems like the typical thing to say and never makes any sense unless the video is highly edited. This was a single shot, single take. Not sure how he would explain how things were misinterpreted
