A Mechanical Engineering Professor..

What happens when one of these technical minds becomes a pool player? "Dr. Dave" is the result. Rollie here is a youtube guy who travels around, getting pool instruction from various experts of the game. Always entertaining videos, but in this one, you might actually learn a few thing if you pay attention. It costs you nothing to pay attention. 51 minutes long...

It actually sounds very interesting, but 51 mins is a looong time these days. I thought everything was just supposed to be a few secs to cater to the shorter attention spans.

What were we talking about again? Mustangs?

Point taken. Takes time, practice, good instruction, and experience to become even a decent pool player. Not many care about that. Pool is an analog game in a digital world.

Ever wondered how a good player is able to have most of his shots look easy because his cue ball often ends up in a good position? This video touches on the science of that.

Thinking about it, the instruction being given in the video would be over the heads of 90% of the guys who post here. They might have put quarters in a bar table at some time, but not much beyond that.

Mustangs? Some of them are fast. Some are really fast. Almost as fast as a well set up 944.
