Who are you most in awe of?

Famous or not. For me, it's Alex Honnold. I was in awe of his ascent of El Capitan in Free Solo. It made any traditional athlete you could name look like a child. They don't die if they drop a pass or strike out with the bases loaded.

Alex Honnold seems so non chalant about the whole thing, I guess in all facets of life there's people pushing limits and it's normal to them David Goggins is one of them, now an ultra marathoner, once a Navy seal...his book is a great read Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Admittedly there are lots of people who do great things but in my life, my wife would also be right up there at the top for me.

I don't do "hero worship" well... The regular person. Who does what's right and stays in their lane without fanfare. All the faceless nameless people of the world that makes this world a wonderful place.

That is a good one, and something I could never have done myself. I cannot think of anything more terrifying.

Do you mean the North Vietnamese or the GIs who went down the tunnels looking for them?

Alex Honnold's free solo was a coin flip - from death. He trained for the ascent while roped up. And fell multiple times trying to solve several passages. He failed at the "boulder problem" about half of the times he tried it. I hope he retires. Those free solo guys don't live too long if they keep at it. Oh, and Blackbird pilots.
