Six months later, they're still at it

It's been over six months since I left PARF, disgusted at the doxxing and other noxious behaviors. And yet . . . they're still writing threads about me even today. Hilarious.

You're barking up the wrong tree in regard to PARF noxious behaviors.

I had to change my private cell number after Mark Wilson/expariot98 posted it and I started getting tons of crank calls. Not to mention his various other dirty tricks. And then there was the death threat from a different PARFer.

Just treat it like a combination carnival, amusement park, and lunatic asylum - then enjoy the show.

It is the same way you should treat the downtowns of most cities on the West Coast (except the drugs, needles and feces are only virtual).

This... Most of the posters in PARF only post in PARF.

I wish I had your resolve, Terry. I still stick my nose in there a bit too often. Every now and then I'll throw something out there concerning the issues we see in Seattle, but that's about the extent of my involvement anymore. Oh, and maybe an occasional comment on something gun related. The rabid hyenas of PARF don't seem to mutilate that stuff quite so quickly.

It's just amazing to me how high emotions run over there. But holy smokes - actually threatening someone? Over some b.s. forum back and forth? I'm not entirely sure I wouldn't notify law enforcement over that kind of thing. That absolutely crosses a line.

Yet, when wandering from their pen they tend to bring PARF with them wherever they go. These people made things miserable enough to require a special place for that crap and they still are unable (unwilling) to differentiate between the two. PARF has become a very dangerous place. I was doxed by sammyg2 and left maybe close to a year ago. I still read PARF because it is a fascinating study of human behavior. But to it being dangerous, one of the alt right members has posted at least three times now that Democrats should be killed. And if I recall correctly, he would do the killing.

What is incredibly interesting is how far folks walk down the path of pure fantasy to reinforce their own team's narrative. The conspiracy theories are incredible and the definition of that word is in full force. That's what makes it so addictive, just to see how far down the rabbit hole these folks will go. It's utterly fascinating.

Net net, I worry about the future of our country based on what I see in PARF. If it were 2% of the country, that would be fine. But I think it's up to 10% and will only grow. Reality is a female corgi (sorry dude) but so easy to escape with all the comfort internet conspiracies, where you are the SUPERHERO and the other side are the villains, have to offer.

Hey, when I played in PARF, I gave just as good as I got. Unfortunately, some folks decided to take things out into the real world.

Those who consistently dish out insults, vitriol and derogatory comments about others give PARF the reputation it has. Thankfully, the worst of the offenders occasionally leave. Case in point...this thread.

Actually PARF has gotten much more civil in those same 6 months. Much less belittling and disrespect these days. I’d be truly surprised if what he says about death threats and other nonsense is true. But who knows.

This very thread says quite a lot. Many of us enjoy OT and PARF without issue. Sometimes ya’ gotta look in a mirror.

I get most of that. Anyone who goes there should understand the deal and I know you’ve read my take on the PARF bleed over to here for whatever that is or isn’t worth. My opinions on it carry little if any importance and Clorox couldn’t make enough electronic bleach to clean up PARF.

However, the green (which I also understand) seems to be a second veiled threat in this thread which I see as some sort of odd coming from a forum moderator. You don’t have to answer for it but it’s still seems funky. Of course it could be me being overly literal too. Either way, it’s a big, no paying job to police a place like this and I’m thankful that you’re out there doing it. Let me know if I need to find my sandals.
