I went out to my dad's place last night to help him and my brother work on his sandrail, I thought I'd get some pics of the toys to share.. Enjoy!

Nice sand rail. What type of motor you run in it.

65 elk. built 350 does high 13's Beautful condition. My brother is slamming it this weekend.

the sandrail has a mid engined Ford Pinto motor with a Type 1 bus tranny. currently putting it all back together, it slipped a timing belt. My dad (in the white shirt) really wants to put a Honda V-tech transversley in there.

Then there's my dad's KX250 with a built motor. He races in the old timer's league

My parents had a 2 door '64 Chevelle Wagon...I often wonder where it is today. Probably recycled into sewer pipe.

How come he`s rebuilding the Pinto motor, and not replacing it with the Honda Vtech?

Hopefully it will be done soon. However my dad is the sort of guy who will have 10 projects going at once. So who knows when it will really get done. I think that my old GMC is next on the list to be finished before we get the sandrail completely finished. I gave the truck to my younger brother in high school. It became way too impractical for me. I figured it would be cool for him to drive this beast to school and back. It's got a 400 V-8, gets like 7 miles a gallon, plus my brother put even BIGGER wheels and tires on it. He was going to put all new Rancho components on it. it's a ridiculous truck. Has enough torque to pull a house off it's foundation.

Nice truck !!!! For a high scool kid too. Hope he`s careful with that much power with that beast. I kinda relate to your dad, I have 6 projects going on right now my self. Never enough time.

Some better shots of the Elky....

You truly have to see this car to appreciate the amount of work my brother has put into it. I am proud to post pics of it here.

did anyone see the film "The Mexican?"

Everytime I see an El Camino I think of that movie; "...something a little more, Mexican?"

Great flick.

Nice collection Jared!

Looks like a lot of middle ground in your family, "a bit of everything".

Hey Jared why don't you cut to the chase and get an M3?

Big Jake
