Why are you still there? Because some other schmutz may have been dislodged when they where placing the stents and can land in some not so great places. Also, part of your heart was accustomed to operating on less blood flow and is now adapting to a new normal. Lastly, they want make sure you do not develop a fever (infection) or have another underlying issue.
You’ll have more energy and run better than before. Please be a good patient.

OK so got another cardiologist. A young hotshot with all of the gadgets and gizmos. He appealed the insurance denial and got me the nuclear stress test.
It wasn't much of a stress. Walked on a treadmill until my heartrate went up to around 115 then we stopped. Doc says my heart function was normal and I can go ahead and live my life. Huh. That's great news and really underscores how bad shoveling snow is. Flattys back ladies!!!
