My wife & I have been on the same regimen as you - IF, walking (plus she does extra exercises), reduced sugar, etc. for a couple of years, plus she recently started the NOOM thing. I'm 5'10" & currently weigh 170(ish) & will be eighty in a few months. In the past few years, I've picked up some visceral far around the middle. Not bad comparatively speaking, but I've never had it before. It could be the old man thing of bigger middle & skinnier limbs that seems to happen. At any rate, it doesn't seem to be going. However, I would usually get up to 175 - 177 during the winters, which I haven't done since being on IF. My impression is it probably takes as long or longer to lose the extra as it took to gain it. At this point, I like the reduced sweets along with the IF schedule. It feels right & I don't expect to ever go back. My wife has lost about seven pounds over the past year or less - from 107 to 99, so she's seeing some progress. Even if you don't see weight loss you wish for, I think it's a healthier lifestyle - at least for us.

Yeah same here. I started doing the Christian Bale no eating plan. It’s difficult, but if you only eat when you are famished you soon become “used” to being slightly hungry. Then, when I splurge, I can’t even eat very much.

I hate that feeling...my heart needs food.:)
