Source? There is no such news on Formula1.com.

In other series news, Sebring 12 Hour postponed to November. WEC had pulled out.

Indycar running per schedule on Sunday.

There are conflicting reports over whether the Australian GP will go ahead, Sky saying yes and BBC saying no.

Of course the BBC wants it postponed so McLaren isn't left out.

That was inevitable, Bahrain will be next, then Vietnam, China is off, will be a while before the 1st race

Glad I'm not travelling with the race team!

astrochex 03-12-2020 12:03 PM

What's inevitable? There has not been an official announcement, at least not on Formula1.com

Deschodt 03-12-2020 12:12 PM

The teams voted not to race. It's not official per FIA yet but it's done... %$#%$ - that was gonna be the one silver lining of this year...

Captain Ahab Jr 03-12-2020 12:19 PM

Hass, McLaren and Williams team members were in isolation

A McLaren mechanic and performance engineer have both been diagnosed as positive

McLaren withdrew from the race, the FIA responded with we will fine you! McLaren now busy trying to work out how to get everyone home

Rumour is Alpha Tauri and Ferrari have staff with symptoms

Just read elsewhere the team principles just finished a meeting and the majority of teams aren't prepared to go ahead with the race

Deschodt 03-12-2020 12:36 PM

St Pete GP will happen behind closed gates.... And WRC goes ahead in mexico. We got open wheels and sliding this w/e after all !

astrochex 03-12-2020 01:02 PM

OK, Captain, thanks for the background information.

Australian F1 cancelled.

Captain Ahab Jr 03-12-2020 03:41 PM

Today's word is 'Inevitable' brought to you by your Muppet Mole on F1 Street :D

We might have to wait for a race but it's going to be a very interesting championship this year

Big fight between RBR and Ferrari to who finishes after Mercedes, maybe RBR may even give Mercedes a run for the constructors championship

The biggest fight will be best of the rest, McLaren, Force Point, Renault, Alpha Tauri ???

Last fight will be best of the loser's, Alfa Romeo, William of Hass??

sammyg2 03-12-2020 04:07 PM

Dammit, now I have to cancel all them racing shows I was gonna record this weekend.
What am I gonna do with all that MT space? It's the end of times I tell ya.
Fire and brimstone.

There goes a nice, relaxing weekend of racing.

Indycar is still running at St. Petersburg and there is an infinite amount of racing on Youtube, Vimeo, an Netflix.

Time to creep back out, Indycar events through April are cancelled, so St. Pete through COTA.

Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg - Updated Statement from INDYCAR

If you are starved for racing content, I did a search on youtube for "movie shorts"
there is a ton of entertaining youtube content out there

One that popped up when I further refined it with "Movie short car"
was Hurely haywoods last race with Brumos.

Noah930 03-13-2020 02:20 PM

St Pete canceled. As are the next three races. IndyCar closed until May.

I was just watching some of this morning's Australian race on TSN, looks like it might have the same results as last year
