Big race day, Daytona 500

Might not be our favorite style of racin', but it is what it is and it's hard not to watch
and it's on today. Lots of big accidents all week, hope no one gets hurt. (at 200mph)

Trump is going to attend, he's probably a big fan of car racing.

That is a fun track to race on. When I first went up on the oval, I thought I hit someone the banking pushes back so hard.

Its been a long winter and I am ready. If they race like they did in the dual 150s I will watch the whole thing. If they race like they did in the Busch clash I will turn it off. I like to watch them race, not crash.

Best way is to record the race and then watch it with the FF clicker in hand. Or keep in on where you are or the next room and take a peek when the announcers start to get excited. If there is a crash they will show it 20 times from every camera that caught it. Hell, if someone wiggles in a corner they will show a replay.

And then there's the race review an hour in or so. I watched the 24 hour race — all of it in the last 2 hours. They replayed every significant moment in the review of the previous 22 hours. You have to really love racing to spend more than 2 hours watching and that's live with commercials. I usually can watch an entire F1 race in 15 to 20 min.

Now if you get a chance to watch something on a dirt track you don't want to miss a minute. Especially motorcycles.

I will be glad to sit down and watch the race. It is like the first robin of spring ! Although I must admit that Bathurst was a great race to watch....much more competitive than NASCAR.

Opening ceremonies were awesome. I couldn't be more proud of being an American right now.

When did two cars driving side-by-side become "side drafting"?
