Umm... no... that's not at all what a recession is.

Gee I don't know why people are worried? I mean we're in a recession! Things haven't turned negative but they MIGHT! And really they don't even have to turn negative to be in a recession... SMH

If the stupid causes a recession, then the two are linked.

I'm quite sure I have more experience in equities markets than you, and more knowledge of economics.

OTOH, you surely have more experience selling farm equipment - if that's what you meant.

I've taken advantage in the downturn to gradually pickup more Masimo stock during the seesaw dips.

It's actually up today with larger than normal trading volume. Coronavirus being respiratory and Masimo being the leader in oxygen saturation/ blood gas pulse oximetery, I think they'll be using a lot of the disposable finger sensors (the razor/ blade theory) that will push quarterly sales through the roof.

I'm holding for long term anyway, let's see where this goes.

So at what point do you plan to start displaying that knowledge??

Don't know much about it but the guy in the van said it was cool.

I just bought a load of this. The guy said I pay cash today and he will deliver next week some time - sounds good to me.

Damn it! 6 cases of pool shock that'll only be pool shock in a few weeks. I was hoping it would be my gold mine.

I think its more granular than that.

Some of the hits that blue chips are taking are wildly unwarranted.

Yep! and it's all because investors weren't impressed by the plan of the administration going forward. Has nothing to do with economic impact... they just don't like his plan. SMH

I'm of the belief the market was going to react like this no matter what... the market (or commentators out there) like to point to something, anything so if it wasn't Trump, it would have been something else. No PARF involved, just that blame looks for reason and it doesn't discriminate based on political party.
