4 lug 8" trailer wheels- want to go bigger

Hey guys need some help on up sizing wheels on a boat trailer . Currently they are 4 on 4 and 8 " diameter . So 4 lug spaced 4" apart . I would like to go 13" or 14" but possibly stay with the 4 lug .

I am thinking maybe a Honda/Toyota wheel might work any of you know if they will bolt on ? I know I will have to move my fenders but that's easy . I just don't like these puny 8 " wheels/tires .

I want to stay with the 4 lug if possible because I currently have Bearing Buddies in the existing hubs and don't want to replace . I want to be ready for spring if possible . Thanks in advance 😊

Garage
Go to Northern Tool website and check out the sizes and types. Didn't think you can go to 14" with a 4 lug.

Common toyota wheels are 4 x 100 mm PCD. You could measure to see if the fit, and 45 mm offset.

standard trailer 4 bolts are 4 1/2'' esp in bigger sizes like 13-14
4'' almost 100 mm [102.8] are golf carts sized used on small trailers and some cars

but you can buy and put on other sized hubs

After some online research it looks like 4 on 4 in 13" are a common size . I just have to make sure I have clearance on the inside so the taller tires won't hit the frame .

So it looks like the section width of the 13 " tires is too wide and will hit the trailer frame . The current wheels/tires are 4:80x8 and I can get 4:80x12 so I am going to go with the 12 " . Would prefer a taller tire in a perfect world but the 12's are better than the 8's . And it's possible the 12's will fit under the current fenders without modifications .

modern car wheels off jap cars are FWD offsets in 100mm
too deep inside the wheel for a trailer
trailers use RWD offsets under 1/2 way in the wheel

I wasn't looking at car wheels I was looking at 13" trailer wheels- . But even a 175/80x13 the section width was too much .
