Coronavirus and shopping
I ordered a couple of things online today for store pickup. When I went to pick up the items the stores had x marks taped on the floor where they wanted people to stand so as not to be to close to the cashier which was fine with me. They said it was for the protection of their customers, yet they insisted I sign the CC machine to pick up my order which was already paid for online. I also had to sign in a the doctor last week you would think they know better. In my store I am not requiring customers to pick up a pen used by many people to sign anything I do not require them to sign for purchases I would rather risk a charge back than risk spreading a virus.
Common sense sometimes escapes people I guess. Rant over

Dig through you stash of pens. I bet one or more has a rubbery soft tip stylus tip on one end. They are designed to work with tablets or phones. I car one in my car anymore. Most machines don't need a full signature, just poke the credit or debit button. But if you have to sign the pen is easy. Just does it with alcohol when you are home. Vodka or gin will likely work as well.
