The chinese communist gubmint is trying to claim the US gubmint invented the wuhan virus as a a weapon of germ warfare to deflect the truth away from their own failed policies.
The iranian sheet-heads are doing the same thing.
Yet some people seem to be perfectly fine with that, and instead have a problem associated the virus with it's place if origin.
Trigger much?
Here's an interesting tid-bit of trigger fodder, the 1918 SPANISH flu pandemic that killed

is now thought to have originated in the United States midwest. Kansas maybe?
But it was named the Spanish flu because it hit so hard there, many at the time assumed that was where it originated.
Point is, naming a pandemic by it's origin is nothing new, unusual, or political.
