I was thinking of trying to drive a train into the side of a ship to relieve the boredom and maybe get on TV but someone beat me to it.

Started a morning exercise routine with my son. Our Governor just saw his shadow and predicted three more weeks of virus. I should be ripped by the time we get the all clear.

Walks on weekdays and 911 drives on the weekends...to go to a place where I can walk of course, in keeping with traveling for essential activities.

I'm building a 10x16 greenhouse for my wife, and restoring a John Deere 316 for me. I rolled 2 yards today (6 acres total), cleaned the barn, and mounted a bathroom light. Tomorrow, my SIL, and I, are cleaning out the garage from all of their October 2019 wedding.

Yesterday, I helped my son fix the leaking turbo connections on his 99 powerstroke.

I'm thrilled that they extended the layoff, because I have a long list yet to do....no boredom here, I call this retirement practice.

I hope to get my bike out over the weekend with better weather coming.

Still going to work everyday. My staff is greatly reduced, so it's quiet. Office usually has 200-ish; my department in the 20's. We're down to 4 in my office (6 who alternate week on/week off, and myself). Little weird being in a huge, damn near empty building.

I mowed my yard today. That was nice to get done before it rained.

Breakfast
Plant snow peas
Make 2nd planting of lettuce and onions
Spray fruit trees
Clean out chicken barn
Shower
Lunch
Nap
Weld up an axle for the chicken tractor
Move chicken tractor to pasture
Start chicken noodle soup
Make cookies
Dinner
Hot tub
Here
Bed in a few minutes

Except for eating lunch and dinner tomorrow will be a different list, with less of a chicken theme. Changing oil in the mowers is on the list. No boredom here

For me it was:
Go to store and by sugar snap pea seed packets for FIL
Buy onion bulbs for FIL
Buy potatoes for FIL to plant
Walk around my woods looking for shed antlers
Drink some beer
Think about buying a hot tub
Here
Drink a few more beers
Bed whenever I feel tired enough to go to bed.

Bought a ton of alcohol today of all varieties. Added on more frozen stuff (protein) and we're doing take out the next couple nights. I'm planning that the next couple weeks in SoCal will get worse and will not venture out unless a priority.

I took the dogs for a second walk today, the evening was warm, no wind and the beach was looking good. Not really a lot of people. Everyone suitably social distancing which was good.

Unfortunately I started sneezing. Something to do with sun on the wrong angle, beach smell, dog smell up my nose. WOW, did people flee. I must have cleared 75 to 100 meters either way. Great way to get some space I guess.
