Never buy the Costco-sized jug of peanut M&M’s during a virus lockdown.

Jus-sayin.

in the middle of a lock down, it is amazing what becomes interpretable as "snack sized" packaging.

My long time boss had a nice office in the corner of the building. The big desk & credenza and computer on the desk. Family pictures on the wall. The stereotype bosses office that on TV and movies the boss has a bottle of fancy booze in the desk. Not that boss, he had a big bag of peanut M&Ms in the bottom drawer.

Oh no. Because you ate to much, or you got to “see how the sausage is being made”?

Ate too much.

Mars has been a client of mine for years. I would gain 50 pounds if I worked at one of their locations.

Same for Hershey PA. The entire town smells like chocolate. I took the tour and stayed at the Hershey convention center for a week. With every meal, they brought out two Hershey miniatures chocolate with the check. The maid put two of the Hershey mini on the pillow every night. Every sort of chocolate desert possible.

I applied for a job as a flavor chemist there (Hacketstown) waaay back in the day, I decided not to pursue it but they sent me home with a box full of their products!

I suspect that like working at a donut shop, or a bakery the first month would be a feast, and then you would be done forever.

I worked at Edy's ice cream one summer in college. Unlimited ice cream in the break room, and you could take a quart home everyday.

Ha,my daughter came into my WFH office with a big bag of M&Ms. I must have eaten a large handful of them in 10 minutes.

My wife bought some Starburst jelly beans.

I've never tried crack before but there is no way it can possibly be more addictive than them.

As a teenager, I worked a few months at the local Vernell's candy factory. Eat all you want they said. A couple of weeks in and I was done for the rest of my tenure.

Yup, that's what happened when I worked for Thomas' English Muffins. We produced 12MM muffins per week! Gawd I hated those things.

Probably a bad thing to work where you love the product. My oldest brother worked at Grandy's in high school, always brought home their biscuits, they are the best out there.

Another brother worked at a local cookie shop, best in town.

I worked at a driving range, hit all the balls I wanted, but didn't aim for the greens because those balls had to be hand picked and the tractor them picked faster.
