Pretty sure that's illegal. |
What makes you Pretty sure that's illegal?

ok, so the state owns the beach and has not closed it?
does the county have authority to control access to state owned lands? |

How do you see this playing out for political gain for anyone? |
The governor here in NC yesterday announced he's keeping us in for another 2 weeks. But today I dropped a car off at a dealer for service and was pretty surprised at how much traffic has increased around Charlotte in the past 2 weeks (last time I was really out and around town). It wasn't like a normal Friday but traffic is way up. I didn't see any police anywhere, Word is you really have to go all out to get stopped for anything. Murder and mayhem is way, way down.

I think it will end up around 0.3% nationwide. Unhealthy Oklahoma is at 6% or 0.4% at 15 to 1. |

I am seeing the same here. More traffic lately, but still far below the past norm. I have been impressed with TomTom. When lockdowns were put into place in a city you could easily see traffic fall like a rock. When Wuhan opened up you could see traffic start to climb. And it is still climbing there. |
Looks like the pressure is getting to Whitmer. She made a few small concessions to the Michigan lockdown. I doubt if a few crumbs will be enough to satisfy the masses.
|
Nope. Whitmer is waiting for her opportunity to snark on President Trump’s anti-science Cloroxy-blinded by the light buffoonery.
He deserves it. She extended the lockdown through May 15. Allowing us to motorboat and buy pumpkin seeds was not a concession. It was a veiled reassertion of her AUTHORITAH! |

She is not weakening due to pressure, i.e., ‘Let them eat crumbs!’
President Trump’s asinine bleach bomb may have sealed his fate in the Great Lake State. Our misery is now his fault. Wrong and ignorant, I know, but Michigan is still blue and just got bluer. Fräu Vittmer may be a neophyte and scary as hell but she is being coached by the best of the best at trench warfare. She fkd up bad by getting caught hiring Soros to trace ‘rona victims but take my word for it, she won’t get caught again and is NOT backing down. |
There has been increasing traffic in Placer County, CA all week. A 1/4 mile section of HWY 80 even backed up on Thursday going home. I’m essential. Ha!
That same day a hair salon in Auburn said FU and opened. So far they have not forced them to close. But this is the same town that the city council is literally screaming at Newsom to let them open. Going to a Brewery today that is only open for to-go orders. There just happens to be food trucks and benches outside. What a coincidence. The rebellion gets stronger every day. In Portland, traffic is picking up, even a tiny bit of congestion at one or two spots, when two weeks ago it was Twilight Zone empty streets everywhere. People are walking in the neighborhood, I see little groups of three and four waking together or chatting on streetcorners, they are usually all younger (look 20-30 ish). Older people are still walking in ones and twos. The homeless are congregating as normal, of course. Grocery, hardware, convenience, etc stores have fairly normalish amounts of traffic, maybe down a third but if not for the masks and tape on the floors, you wouldn’t notice anything weird. In my office building, a few more people are coming in, usually not for the whole day but to stopping in for a few hours.

We are down to 5 active cases in my county. All 300,000 of us are locked up for our own good. Our governor can't think past the borders of Cook County. He did open golf courses, so I guess that means he likes to golf.
