That's funny, because my governor has moved the goalposts so far ever getting there is in question.

Yes, plus if I understand correctly Murphy is looking at NJ as an all or none reopening, instead of doing it regionally. Which makes no sense since the vast majority of cases are up north. South Jersey has very few...

Same boat here in Illinois. Very few counties outside of Chicago and suburbs have double-digit counts of active cases. Cook County has tens of thousands of active cases.

other entertainment venues not covered by these guidelines, may not open to the public until such time
as guidelines specific to the individual use have been approved by the City. Owners/operators of such
venues are encouraged to submit sample guidelines for their use through the Office of the City Manager
for consideration.

document, the term Restaurant includes all full and quick service restaurants that provide facilities for

Actually, it has worked pretty damn well in NYC. They have maximized the infected and mostly kept the hospital system operating. I am sure they would have liked a lower stress on the hospital system but they came pretty close to what was originally the plan. Upstate they went overboard.
